Getting Started
- Navigate to [Salon Code].aurasalonware.com/admin using the web-browser on your mobile device
- Bookmark AURA’s log-in page on your mobile device’s home screen:
- Review the iPhone and iPad instructions
- Review the Android instructions
- Open the application and enter your email address in the username field.
- If you are already registered, enter your password.
- If you do not know your password, select “Forgot Password” and enter your email address. A password creation link will be sent to the entered email address.
- Click “Remember Me” to save your credentials.
Day to Day Basics
View and Edit an Appointment
- Upon logging in, your appointment calendar will display. You can use the date buttons above the calendar to toggle between the dates.
- To view a specific client’s appointment details, locate and select the appointment on the calendar. From this screen, you can also edit and view the following items:
- Appointment Actions
- Confirm: Client has confirmed their appointment
- Arrive: Client has been marked arrive via text, the client app, or on the salon-side
- Edit: Where you can modify the service, stylist, date or time of the appointment
- Memos: Notes that are specific to this appointment only and will not remain on the client’s file. If a memo is added to an appointment, then the memo icon will display on the calendar.
- Cancel: Cancel the appointment.
- Add on: Any suggested add-ons (Service or Retail) for their appointment will be available to add to the appointment.
- Client Information
- Details: Additional details about the appointment, including: Service Name, Equipment Needed, Date and Time, Provider, and Salon Location
- Notes: Notes that are specific to the client and will be linked to their file for all appointments
- Formulas: Where you can record the formula used on the client
- Products: Where you can find a list of all the retail items that the client has previously purchased.
- Booked: Where you can find the appointment details for all the client’s past and upcoming appointments

Client Check-in and Check Out
- Smart Check-In: If a client responds to the check-in text or checks in on the guest app, you will receive a text message alerting you that your client has arrived.
- Appointment Add-Ons: When you click into a client’s appointment, click Ticket at the top of the screen to attach any “Add On” items to client tickets prior to checking out. “Add-Ons” can include:
- Add a Service
- Add a Product
- Add a Gift Card
- Add Series
- Add Bonus Card
- Loyalty Points
- Review Past Retail, Service, and Tips Purchased- Client Mobile Check-Out: If clients have an account on the client application and want to check themselves, then you simply select the “Ready to Pay" on the Ticket screen in the stylist application and then the client can complete the check process out by selecting the green "Check Out" button on the bottom right of the client application.
- Stylist Express Check-Out: If the client has an account and credit card on file, then stylists can check out their clients using express pay. From the ticket screen, select “Ready to Pay” and then select “Express Pay” option, which will charge the card on file for the client.

- Click on the 3 horizontal lines
in the top right corner to display the menu. - NOTE: Depending on your role and access level settings, some of the below features may not be available to you.
- Dashboard: Review Total Sales, Services Total, Retail Total, and other KPIs by location or employee within your chosen date ranges
- Report: Review reports for Sales, Services, Retail, and Payroll by location
- Team: Where you can find a list of team members, their schedule, appointments, services, notes and contact information
- Clients: Where you can find a list of clients with a shortcut to the booking page
- Services: Where you can find a list all of your current services and pricing
- Products: Where you can find a searchable list of available inventory and price
- Marketing: Where you can view Aura's Marketing Suite
- Settings: Edit or view your settings
- Help Center: Review Aura's Help Center
- QR Code: Client's can scan your QR Code to quickly bring them to your Salon Mobile App
- Videos: Review helpful videos on frequently asked questions
- Logout: Log out of your account
- Clock: Where you will clock in and out
Additional Helpful Hints
- Referral Codes and Reward: Referral Codes can be found under “Salon Wallet” in the guest application. Clients can send a unique referral code to their friends and family. Once the referee’s service has been completed, the client who referred the new client will be credited to their account.
- Gift Cards: Guests can purchase and send virtual gift cards from their “Salon Wallet” or by visiting [Salon Code].aurasalonware.com/gift-cards. Gift cards are delivered to the recipient via email or text on a date specified by the purchaser. Once purchased, gift cards can be added to the client’s application. The gift card does not automatically populate in the purchaser’s salon wallet because the recipient might be different than the purchaser.
- Client Details: Stylists have full access from the stylist application to input any of the information on the client’s profile, send password or add a credit card to their account on behalf of the client.
