Aura Salonware will be releasing the following system updates on May 7, 2025
System updates include, but are not limited to...
Referral Assignments, Redemptions & Reporting
Employees can now assign a referral directly within the client profile, on the ticket or during new guest sign-up flow. Once assigned, new client referral credits will be automatically applied at checkout for the new guest's first appointment, while existing client rewards can be easily applied from the ticket. Detailed reporting make it easier than ever to track and manage referral rewards across the business.
Department & Level Filters on Reporting
Filter by department or level on employee sales reporting, including: dashboard, comparison report, service report, retail report, booking, new clients, visit types, and the retail to service analysis.
Online Booking Requests
Easily view and manage all appointment requests submitted through online booking when providers are set to "Requests Only" on their profile. This centralized list streamlines manual booking by consolidating all pending requests.
Smartbooking Help Text
Help text when adjusting the service timing will now display in an hours and minutes format when the service time exceeds 1 hour.
Punch Clock Hours Report
If an employee is currently clocked in, the punch clock hours report will reflect the clock in time.
The following features were recently released and are all currently available.
Mothers Day Email Template
We’ve added a brand-new email template just in time for Mother’s Day! Easily customize and send heartfelt messages to help your business celebrate moms everywhere.
Access: Manual Refunds
Owners and Managers can enable or restrict access to the Manual Refund button on the transaction list from the employee's "Access" settings. Please note this setting is only available to Reception and Manager roles.
Inventory Count Form Updates
Inactive products are now hidden from the inventory count form if the product has a zero on hand quantity.
AuraPay: Credit Card Updates
If you use AuraPay for payment processing, a $0.01 pre-authorization will be applied when a credit card is first added to Aura. This temporary hold is used to verify the card's validity and will automatically be released within a few hours or up to a day, depending on the customer's bank.
For multi-location businesses using AuraPay, stored customer cards are now accessible across all locations—even if each location uses a different merchant account for processing.
