We are excited to announce the following AURA Salonware System updates!
Rearrange Services
Salon Owners and Managers can move services to different service categories within the Services tab. Simply select the service you want to move and drag it to the desired service category.
Multi-Part Appointment Editing[a][b][c]
Salon employees can edit multi-service appointments without exiting the booking form. Select “Save and Continue” after editing the first service and you will be prompted to edit the next service within the appointment. Once all edits are complete, click “Save” to close the booking form.
Margin Percentage in Retail Report
Owners and Managers can now view the margin percentage for each product in the retail report.
Start Time Matches Salon Hours
When any employee is adding a service to a ticket on desktop or mobile, the start time options for the added service now start at the salon’s scheduled opening time and end one hour after closing time.
Appointment History
Clients’ appointment history now displays the amount price paid by the client rather than the provider’s default price for the service.
Filter Product Type on Purchase Order
Managers and owners can filter the inventory list on the purchase order screen by the product type (Retail vs. Professional).
Punch Clock Date Picker
Salon Staff can now show the Punch Clock page by specific date range using the date picker on their mobile device or desktop.
Friends & Family Icon
The Friends & Family icon within tickets has been changed from a “Star” icon to a “Heart” icon. The Friends & Family (Heart) icon will display on a ticket screen if Friends & Family pricing is set up for the specific service. Simply click the icon to apply the Friends & Family price to the applicable service. All salon staff can see this change within the ticket.
Multi-Provider Appointment Icon
An icon has been added to the appointment calendar to indicate when the appointment involves multiple providers. All salon staff can see this icon on the calendar.
Marketing Landing Page
The marketing section now has its own landing page, which is viewable by manager and owner log-ins, for easier navigation.
Improved Ticket Format
A color is displayed adjacent to each service provider’s name denoting their role. Orange denotes reception, green denotes a provider, yellow denotes a booth renter, pink denotes a manager, and lavender denotes an alternate provider. The client’s name displays in the ticket screen next to the service and/or retail product. This is to support a future feature.
