In-Store Appointment Deposits
Your staff can collect a deposit for appointments booked in-house using express pay, cash, or check. Depending on settings and the access level of the employee that is logged in, the deposit may be waived.

"Flip & Tip" - Client Tipping Interface
Flip & Tip was created to add privacy and convenience for salon guests when checking out and adding a tip via card. When checking out on mobile within the ‘Ready to Pay’ screen, instead of asking the client how much they would like to add for tip, simply click the ‘Flip & Tip’ icon to present the guest with an invoice and tip options.

Formula Re-Design
Color formulas are now stamped with the date, time and employee name. All formulas entered prior to this update will display under the “Old Formula” section.
Visit Type Displayed on Client Modal
The visit type is displayed on the 'Details' tab within the appointment denoted by ‘Type’.
Attaching Image to Two-Way
Two-way texting now has the ability to attach an image to an outbound message. When navigating to Two-Way Text via the grey circle button (1), users can create a message and attach a file.
Note: Supports PDF, PNG, JPG, & GIF files only.
Canadian Salons - Register & Card on File
Canadian salons can designate ‘Canada’ as the default country for their site by navigating to Salon Settings > Country and choosing ‘Canada’. When ‘Canada’ is selected, ‘Zip Code’ changes to ‘Postal Code’ and ‘State’ changes to ‘Province’ site-wide. In addition, when ‘Canada’ is selected as the country, the register report cash counter will display the option to accept $1 and $2 coins.
Commission by Service Type
By navigating to Employees > Choose Employee > Services users can set commission by service type and will be reflected accordingly on the payroll report.

PO Builder Updates - Search by PO Name
Users can search by PO name or number by going to Inventory > Purchase Orders.
Inventory > Purchase Orders and type into the ‘Search’ field. In addition, you can now modify the tax, PO discount and freight fields on the PO after restock, as well as sort alphabetically by product name.
Register Report Update
Tips paid and petty cash additions/withdrawals will be factored into the variance on the Register Report.
Admin Reports: Itemized Refund Report
The Refund Report is itemized in order to show the status of Reverse Commission and Restock for each line item on the refund.
Sales Report: Gift Card Redemption
Owners and Managers can view gift card redemption details by going to Reports > Sales > Gift Card Redeemed on the sales report.
Employee Action Report Updates
The Employee Action Report allows Owners and Managers to track 43 different actions in AURA. By going to Reports > Employee Action > ‘All Actions’ Drop-down, new actions have been added, including: Client Deleted, Clients Merged, Employee Profile Updated, Walk-In Created, Appointment Deleted, Walk-In Taken, Refunded Ticket, Smart Booking Updated, Supplier Deleted, Appointment Deleted, Formula Updated, Client Note Updated, & Processed Ticket Time.

Provider App: Tip Totals & Refunds
If “Display Tips on Provider Report and Dashboard” is enabled under Salon Settings > Access > Provider Access, then providers are able to see their total tips collected and refunds on the and itemized tips on the provider report by navigating to the Menu > Report . When ‘Tip Total’ line is clicked, it will bring the user to the itemized tips section of the report.
Access Setting Update
Within Salon Settings > Access > Under Provider Access > The wording of ‘Include Service Fee on Provider Dashboard and Report’ has changed to ‘Do not deduct service fee on provider report and dashboard’.
Also under Salon Settings > Access > Desk Access, owners can now extend access to the ‘Mark as Paid’ button on the top left of the ready-to-pay screen to reception level employees.
Reception: Access to Manual Refund Button
Reception now has access to create a New Refund by navigating to Menu > Transactions.

Deposit Report
When navigating to Reports > Deposits users can now filter by deposit type, which includes: Open, Refunded, and All.
Retail Report
When navigating to Reports > Deposits users can filter the retail report based upon Suppliers, Category, and Sub-Category.
Search Clients by Home Phone #
Users can search for a client by using their home phone number by navigating to Clients > Search Clients.
Require a Credit Card for Online Booking
To require Credit Cards to complete online booking, navigate to Settings > Client App > Require Card on File for Online Booking and check the box.
